If you live the the Mastersonville Fire Company response area, you should have received our Spring Newsletter in the mail earlier this week. Two weeks ago when the Newsletter was written, we had no idea that we should maybe have included information on health and safety as it relates to COVID-19. But we want you to know know that in these uncertain times your first responders are committed to serving your emergency needs.
We encourage you to be proactive in your efforts to keep you family safe and, in an attempt to keep us safe and minimize COVID exposures, our personnel are similarly taking every precaution to limit activities in the station to only those essential to run the company. Additionally, when dispatched, you might see us wearing protective clothing or masks or practicing distancing with others (except as needed to complete the response task). THIS IS NOT SOMETHING TO BE ALARMED AT! This is nothing more than best practices to ensure your safety and ours.
